  • Saw Chair by Ole Gjerlov-Knudsen C1960

Designed by Ole Gjerlov-Knudsen in 1958 this is a wonderful piece. Inspired by an old saw that was tensioned by a twisted piece of rope, Gjerlov-Knudsen used the concept to create this chair which is made out of birch wood and unbleached canvas by the manufacturer Cado. There are no wooden joints, the separate piece of the frame are held together due to the tension of the rope.

A very collectible piece of Danish design, in good condition
