Antique red and off-white stripe mattress cover

Antique red and off-white striped mattress cover. circa 100 years old. A great soft cotton with wide white and narrow red stripes.

Lovely condition. Beautiful bright contrast for age. This has a couple of characterful small historic darned repairs to one side and is still sewn up into a cover retaining its original buttons. The buttons are hand looped cotton. The buttons themselves are very beautiful.
