  • Antique French primitive baguette cutter board. Circa 1890-1900.

This very unusual bread/baguette cutter board and blade has been well used and shows its age and character. It is covered in knife marks with low depressions in the centre. The years of chopping has shaped this beautifully. There is a beautiful primitive iron loop for the knife to hang from. The blade is very sharp and has a curved hook end.

Most likely homemade in southern France this is a very old and rustic board. It is made of oak and it is Nice and heavy. It is solid and very usable.

A rare bit of French country history. A great gift idea! It weighs 2.5 kg for postage.
